rubbery goodness

ok… my prediction is that these guys are going to be the next big thing: Kaiju: Big Battels. It’s a boston based group that… screw it, here’s the best way to describe it:
Pro Wrestling
+ Japanese Monster movies (gozilla, gamara)
+ Gwar
——————————————
pure enjoyment for the fans.
The fellow on the right is Kung Fu Chicken Noodle
Type: Unfriendliest rogue consomme
Height: 100 meters
Weight: 120 fluid tons
Attack: Kickin’ noodle stance, chicken bone choke, steam roller
MSG Count: 40%
Tag Line: Mmm Mmm Bad!
Win/Lose: 2/7
Allies: None
Enemies: All humans, Cycloptopuss, Club Sandwich
You also have to check out Los Plantanos (AKA The Plantain Twins), trust me, it’s worth it. And if you don’t think its possible to pro wrestle in monster suits, check out the videos. I’ve got to figure out a way to get these guys to Rochester.
can’t sleep
sybject says it all. my mind is racing and i had been just beens taring at the ceiling. tomorrow (or later today) we’ll find out what the future plans for kodak.com are. i’m still trying to figure out what i’m going to do with my life. so for the moment i’m sitting here working on my resume.
difficult days
Elliot began his poem The Wasteland by writing: “April is the cruelist month.” As suggested below, this December seems to be running a close second. Aaron, Jenny’s boyfriend has just been called up from the reservists for active duty. He’ll be leaving for the Gulf in a few weeks. Last night Dre’s father was checked into the hospital, with heart and kindey problems. I was there with them for most of the night. So I’m a zombie today and pretty distracted. Hopefully I’ll know more soon about his condition.
Its tough right now to find things to feel good about.
more information…
…on the changes I mentioned in the last blog. I had written a very articulate posting. Honest. Unfortunately, Blogger Pro and I didn’t see eye to eye about posting it. So instead you all get the short, sweet version (which you might already know if you read Jenny’s awesome blog): there’s going to be a major set of layoffs at kodak.com. How big, we don’t know yet. Who it will be, we don’t know yet. But regardless, these are trying times.
What we do know is that these layoffs will not happen until January. More information will come in the days that follow. So for the moment, I’m not concerned. I don’t have enough information to be (or maybe that by itself is enough reason to be concerned). All I know is that this December, for various reasons, is gearing up to be a cruel month.
