I still have miles to go before I sleep. And I just wrapped my second fact finding interview/meeting. This one was with Auragen Communications a local internet firm that I have a great deal of respect for. It went… unexpectedly. There are some possibilities there, but the person I met with encouraged me to go in a very different direction than I was originally thinking. And I need to wrap my head around that option more. Unfortunately, me head isn’t particularly together right now and anything thats unexpected tends to throw me into a bit of a tizzy. So I need to get beyond that and write. But I have not been able to do that yet.

I’ve been thinking about going and working out for a bit, but I managed to have my left elbow slightly hyperextended last night and I want to lay off of anything heavy with it.

I’m sitting at the Jet Blue terminal at Kennedy Airport on Long Island and taking advantage of wireless access here. I’m down on LI for less than 24 hours to attend the baptism of my Cousin’s son. Actually, I’ll be playing a small role in it as I am honored to be his Godfather. The idea of this is still a bit of a weird concept for me.

The reentry week has been really difficult. Rewards and wonderful and also stressful for a variety of reasons. On Monday I’ll begin writing.

As a slight distraction, everyone should check out Elina’s Blog. E’s a good Anthro friend, fellow MAPSSter, and new owner of a well traveled futon. She’s in Brazil for the summer conducting some field work on Candomble and playing Capoeria.

I made it here in one peice, though I still have a LOT of unpacking to do. More to follow once I get my internet situation sorted out.

The U-Haul is packed and by the time that most of you read this we will either be on the road or in Rochester. Its been a bittersweet weekend. Most of its been spent packing and saying goodbye to friends. And after we finished loading the U-Haul I took my brothers Paul and Glenn to Superdog.

Here is most likely the last shot of me working in the Reg taken just a few moments ago. Frazzled. Still packing. But done (although trying to solve a number of last minute moving problems).
