down and back
I took a stealth trip down to long island. Thanks to traffic on the way down I actually spent less than 12 hours on good old LI. I got there at 4.30pm on Saturday and left by noon the next day. The occasion was a celebration of a good friends birthday and housewarming. I also had the chance to celebrate my brother’s Paul’s b-day. That’s something that is sure to get the goat of my other brother Glenn. Glenn’s b-day came before Paul’s and I still have yet to mail out Glenn’s gifts. This can only mean bad things in the comments field. In all seriousness Glenn, your gifts are mailing out this week.
In general, thanks to the play among other things, I’ve been really behind in things like birthday celebrations. This is one of the reasons that I think that I’ve been taking people for granted. I’m trying to get back on the path to appreciating friends and family (or rather letting them know that I appreciate them), but I have a long way to go.
In other news, and I’ll try to not be graphic about this, I think someone had fallen asleep in the men’s room at kodak.com. Either that person has one hairy breathing problem or someone was snoring in a stall. I dunno about you, but that doesn’t seem like the most comfortable place to catch some Z’s.
